Revelation 21:6-8
It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
It is done! He is God and has been from the beginning of all things and will be to the furthest reaches of all eternity. He created all life, provides all that is needed to sustain that life, and gives it freely to those who love and obey Him. He states that those who overcome until the end will inherit all that He has to offer. To overcome means to stand with Him in faith, love, and obedience to Him and His ways. These ways will absolutely be in opposition to those of Satan, his beasts, and occasionally that which is taught in the church! He will be our God, and we (if we choose obedience to His ways over our own desires) will be His sons!

1) fearful- “deilos” defined this as timid, faithless
2) unbelieving- “apistos” defined as disbelieving, untrustworthy
3) abominable- “bdelusso” derivative of “to stink” detestable
4) murderers- “phoneus” criminal or intentional homicide
5) whoremongers- “pornos” prostitute, fornicator
6) sorcerers- “pharmakeus” spell giving, druggist, poisoner, magician

Do you fit any of these descriptions? If so, why? Because I will tell you this… I am fearful about the deceptions that we will all face before Jesus returns. I see many areas of my life where unbelief seems to reign. I have fallen in times past to fornications and lusts, and continue to battle against the temptations I encounter. I have lied numerous times and have even caught myself justifying them because they were meant to prevent harm, or were just “little white lies”. There is no such thing as a “white” lie! My only hope is in the mercy, grace, and forgiveness of my God, true repentance, and an effort to walk in His Spirit and become holy as He has called us to be. “Go, and sin no more” as Jesus said. I write this stuff down not to scare you, but to let you know there is still a chance to make a good decision with the remainder of your life. There is no other name given among men by which we can be saved. That name is Jesus in English, Yeshua, or Yehoshua in Hebrew, and Iesous in the Greek. They all name our Messiah and King, and they all mean SAVIOR! Most likely we will all die at some point here on Earth. The only life of any substance is lived for the Christ! The “second death” mentioned in the above scripture is eternity in misery and torment!
