Is Jesus Really God?

We are moving towards a day when The Messiah will return and bring things to order. At that time it talks about a wedding day in which we will forever be connected to God. But it also says the path getting there is going to be a little rough on the flesh. Keep in prayer, keep your eyes on Him, help those of us around you that need the assistance. See you at the Crystal Sea!

My guess is the title of this has already been answered in the minds of most who read what I write at this point in time anyway. Unless God makes something I post on here go viral, then those coming to this site are generally people who share my faith, or at the very least desire to share this faith. Lately it seems that there is has been an increased offensive against this Christian faith that I hold. There has always been a bit of a hatred by the world for Jesus Christ and that should not surprise us, He told us that was the case before He died. We all must remember that "they" hated Him before "they" hated us, and that doesn't eliminate the fact that sometimes they hate us because we are also prideful, hypocritical jerks like they are. Get over it, we no longer have the right to be offended like they are either. This does not mean turn your back on them as they spit in your face, but they hate God and you are His so deal with it. The spit they spat drips down from His face before it lands on you!

Something that always comes to me when I ask God about this is the life and studies I have done regarding Abraham. I will start with the stuff that is in the Biblical Cannon and include some stuff from the Book of Jasher (Book of the Upright) that is quoted multiple times in both the old and the new testaments. We know that Abram was called from Ur of the Chaldeans to leave his location and come to a place that the God of Noah, whose kids, Shem, Ham, and Japheth were still alive at the time, was going to give the Israelites. Abram left his familiar land and wandered through a place that was previously unknown to him. During this time Abram was constantly and regularly tested and challenged by God. As Abram grew in the Spirit his name was changed to Abraham adding the breath of the life of God (Spirit or in Hebrew, Ruach) into his name as well in to the name of his wife Sarah. Something that I think should be admired by the people who study Abraham is the fact that he wandered amongst tribes and nations of people who did not believe in his God and yet he rarely backed off from the fact that his God was and is the King of kings all the while trying to keep peace with everyone he came in contact with. He did this without bowing to their ways, but by being respectful and kind whenever it was possible and yet not sacrificing the strength and power of his God, and Gods mission on Abraham. I recently purchased a shirt that had a quote on the front that reminded me of this study. It says Pray for peace, but prepare for battle. This was Abraham! Another thing about Abraham, as he acquired wealth, which is solely by his willingness to move in the power of God, he also built a small, yet very powerful army of men and had earned the respect of the majority of nations in which he had come in contact, that peace was generally kept with the exception of a few times in which he fought to recover his nephew Lot after he was taken into captivity. We know of Abrahams challenge of faith by God where he was called to sacrifice his son. The story written about that event in the Book of Jasher clarifies it even more in my opinion and describes how Satan wanted to stop Abrahams obedience in this act. Satan spoke to all parties that were primary in this event. Sarah, Abraham, and Isaac as well. Satan even tried to prevent the Ram that God was sending from making it to the altar before Isaac was sacrificed. It painted the picture of a great father and a loving obedient son. There were two other stories about Abraham in Jasher that I also felt were stories that all should hear. One is that Abram was sought after by the people of King Nimrod to be killed because in a prophecy it was shown that it would be through his line that Nimrod would lose the kingdom, and my very favorite story was Abrams battle with his father over the idols he possessed in a room of worship. It showed that from the get go, God was creating a man who would love God more than anything else in life, and I believe that this was evident in the recorded history of Abrahams actions.

There are hours of studies and historical things we can find regarding the life and times, even the theology of Abraham. As of late, the hate for God that I am seeing is developing some heavy duty steam. Groups, governments, and Social Media Gurus are all chiming in against the will of God. In what world would we have ever thought that men were going to be women and vice versa, that we would invent genders that we don't even know about and spend millions so that we can kill our offspring (fetus) in the womb. The twilight zone has become reality and now our faith is going to be tested. Only those who truly love Him will still be following Him in a few years due to the potential costs of that life. I listen to the news and I watch some of the podcasts and stories that people are happily posting to say how evil Christianity is, all the while the modern church is imploding on itself and it will continue to do so. I find it difficult to be who I feel God wants me to be in the middle of off of this mess, but Abraham is one of my greatest examples. I am to be a strong male presence in my home. I am to be a loving and appreciative father and husband willing to sacrifice my own wife or son for the sake of the Word of God (take this symbolically since we no longer have to sacrifice for the sins in our lives as Jesus is that final winner takes all sacrifice). I am to do my best to be honest and respectful to those around me trying to make peace wherever I go no matter what their belief system is, and yet not give even a millimeter of space in the defense of my faith in Jesus Christ. I am to live for peace but be ready to kill and defend should the time come when that is required of me. Physical death is not the end of my life, it is literally the first day post graduation that I will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and where for the first time in my existence I will experience good, noble, and honest leadership that is not retarded by the massive volume of sin and evil in the world.

Who are you called to be in this fight? Jesus may come in 2 days or in 2000 more years, I have no clue as to the moment or the time, I just know that the call has not been pulled on our lives to keep spreading and living the Gospel. I also believe there are some pretty clear signs that show the time of the Great Tribulation may be getting very near. Get ready! Stand up, and do the Truth!

Whenever I go out to my shop to pray, God gives me a lesson or connects things that help me better understand what He may have for me to learn. I was praying and God asked me to write down the first things that came to mind when He asked the most amazing things that I have encountered in my life this far. Here is what came out. The thing I hope you notice it that everything on the list is directly connected to God. There is nothing whatsoever in my 48 years of living that even comes close to these events or situations that I have mentioned. When people ask why I would think God is real... well, it's just simply because He is real and I have more evidence already than I have time to write the books about that evidence. My prayer is that you find Him!
