Judgment and Repentance

John 8:1-12
1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more. 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Do you choose to walk in darkness with an unrepentant heart? If you choose to sin, and want to reconcile with God you must repent and leave that sin! I ask all who read this and claim that they are "Christian" do you continue to choose sin over the desires of God or do you choose to battle sin by resisting the devil, or cutting off the hand that continually causes you to sin? If you claim "Christianity" and choose to walk in sin, when a brother in Christ calls you on that sin, he is not in the wrong for judging you rightly. Jesus Himself told the woman who was caught in the act of adultery to "SIN NO MORE!!!" Sinning is walking in darkness. Jesus Himself said those who follow Me shall not walk in darkness.

I will back this up with another scripture that is going to hold to account those who call themselves "Christian" that read this. I say this because there is a judgment in the words I write today. These words are not mine but are from the Bible directly. God loves His children and disciplines those He loves.

John 5:1-15
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” 7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’” 12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” 15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

Once again Jesus tells someone to "SIN NO MORE", but in this case He also states that something worse than a 38 year long infirmity will come upon the man if he does sin more!

Why do I say this? I say this because it is scripture. It is true and rightly inspired by God. It is to be used for the encouragement, education, and correction of all of us.

We have decisions to make every day. We must be held accountable for the decisions we make especially if you are going to represent the Kingdom of Heaven to the world or other Christians. Satan can not make you do anything that you do not choose to do by agreeing with him. SATAN CAN NOT STOP GOD!!! Make yourself accountable for your actions and words. If you choose sin over God, than that means YOU  decided that was what you were going to do, and you did it. Excuses do not make the action right.
