One God, One Way
A couple things to think about… These pertain to some recent conversations I have had.
1) If Christianity is true then that means the Bible is true and correct. That being the case, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and NO ONE comes to God (the Father) except through Him. Jesus also possesses the only Name by which a man can be saved. The Old Testament speaks of Jesus and tells who He is and what He comes to do. God does not allow His people to worship any other besides Himself. Jesus, Melchizadek, and the Angel of the Lord, were allowed to be worshiped by Gods children thus making them equals with God. I believe that these are all one in the same, but that is another story. Long story short, if a man does not enter through Jesus, that man is not approaching the God of the Bible and is not a child of the promise given to Abraham.
2) The covenant that was given to Abraham was given through the offspring of Sarah (Isaac). God stated that He would establish His covenant made to Abraham through his son Isaac. Read this in Genesis 16. God made a promise to Hagar that her son Ishmael would become a large nation of people that he would be a man against every man and every man would be against him. It was eventually a branch of the line of Ishmaelite that became the Muslims we see today.
I say this because Eastern religion and the Islam are not compatible with the belief of Christianity. They do not worship the same God and they are poison to the faith. This being said we must listen to the Holy Spirit as to how we deal with the influence of these religions. God calls us to be ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven, that statement encompasses more than I can write, and more than I claim to know. I just know where I can find the answers and Jesus is faithful to teach me.
For those of you I have been talking to about this subject, we will keep our discussions up. Jesus is calling you and we must seek Him and Him alone!
