Are We Moving in to Uncharted Territory?

 

I want to preface this little message with something. NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY NOR THE HOUR WHEN JESUS WILL RETURN! However we are absolutely supposed to learn to recognize the signs of that time. There are many times in the past 2000 years where the church believed the time was at hand, and yet once again we are still waiting and believing for His return. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the fingerprints of God on everything He touches. Not only is it educational and faith inspiring, you will be amazed at what He has His hands in. Secondly, be one whom He finds working when He returns! The tendency is to stop “doing” because it seems there is no point to “do” if all things will be run differently with Christ on the throne in the next few days! No matter if things are good or if they are awful we must find the strength to remain diligently obedient even when we are in a line leading to the guillotine.

Matthew 24:3-14

Mat 24:3  Later, when they arrived at the Mount of Olives, his disciples came privately to where he was sitting and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what supernatural sign should we expect to signal your coming and the completion of this age?”

Mat 24:4  Jesus answered, “At that time deception will run rampant. So beware that you are not fooled!

·  Is now a time of rampant deception? Is the information we chew on from all sources of media feeding us manna or feces? Often times even the pulpit is mixing the two so they seem honest when they say that they are giving you bread from heaven! Never mind the fact it is mixed with worldly wisdom! Those are not chocolate chips mixed in the bread! Any such message is rat poison! These times are the most deceptive and most divisive I have witnessed in my lifetime. We will require faith and trust in the Holy Spirit to get through this! Learn to seek your news supernaturally through prayer and meditation on the Scriptures. Seek heavily and incessantly for biblical discernment!

Mat 24:5  For many will appear on the scene claiming my authority or saying about themselves, ‘I am God’s Anointed,’ and they will lead many astray.

·  I cannot count how many people I have met that truly claim they are anointed by God to do this or that job. Some actually are called and anointed by the Holy Spirit to do their job, many are not. It will be evident in what they do. None of them are “The Annointed” as in, the returning Messiah Himself. I have met those who believe themselves to be gatekeepers, or that believe their legalistic unforgiving merciless prophecies are from God. There are those who seem to have no power at all even though they are filled with the knowledge of scripture. The true prophets message may seem harsh but will always be a picture of the forgiving, Grace filled, and merciful King we have. Never forget that the discipline of God is also a requirement in the description of God’s love to His children! I have also witnessed God speak through the unsaved and through children. His forms of communication are not limited, He will make rocks cry out if need be! Pray for discernment and fill your head and heart with the Holy Scriptures! Those scriptures will help to calibrate the discernment we need to survive and hopefully shrink our chances of being led astray!

Mat 24:6  “You will hear of wars nearby and revolutions on every side, with more rumors of wars to come. Don’t panic or give in to your fears, for the breaking apart of the world’s systems is destined to happen. But it won’t yet be the end; it will still be unfolding.

·  I can’t find a period in the last 100 years where a war was not occurring. There are a constant barrage of revolutions and uprisings taking place all over the world with the largest of them still yet to come. The scripture states not to panic. So don’t! The only way this is going to be possible is being filled with the Holy Spirit to keep our wits about us in the midst of extreme fear! He will provide supernatural courage and boldness to do what you may be called upon to do.

·  The worlds systems? That last recorded time of the World coming together as one was during the construction of the Tower of Babel. God broke that apart, separated the people, and sent them running confused and unable to communicate to fill the four corners of the Earth. We are returning to a place where the world seems to once again to be reuniting against its King. Human nature without the conviction and direction of the Holy Spirit always wants to dethrone God. Man feels it is his throne! Odd that was the same belief that Satan held. Our systems, especially those that allow for the fullness of the gospel must succumb to the satanic doctrines of Socialism and Communism. Open your eyes!

Mat 24:7  “Nations will go to war against each other and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be terrible earthquakes—seismic events of epic proportion, horrible epidemics and famines in place after place.

·  This is actually saying ethnicity vs ethnicity and country vs country. We are seeing this within our own borders as I write this. Much of it is Satan lying in to the ears of the races creating victims out of those who God would turn in to victors but many are buying the lie and will give themselves over to it!

·  Do a simple study on the changes in seismic events and storms…and we are living in the beginning of epidemics! A “pan” demic is a word based off of the name of the god Pan from Greek mythology.

Mat 24:8  This is how the first contractions and birth pains of the new age will begin!”

·  I wholeheartedly believe we are in a “contraction” now! They don’t typically get lighter and lighter as the nearing of the birth.

Mat 24:9  “You can expect to be persecuted, even killed; for you will be hated by all the nations because of your love for me.

·  Does the message you preach, or those from the pulpits of your congregations fall in line with this statement from Jesus Himself? God will absolutely provide! God will absolutely protect! But the message to the Christian is also absolutely clear... “They will treat you like they treated Me.” The “church” and the world beat Him and killed Him. If you do your job right, many will become true family, sharing in the blood of Jesus. However many will hate you because of the Light that is in you. They will work to eradicate that Light as well as those vessels that carry it to the world. It is easier to live in sin when it is not constantly highlighted! Protect your Light with armor!

Mat 24:10  Then many will stop following me and fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another.

·  It seems to me, this is exactly what is taking place right now! Many who are falling away don’t even see it as falling away. To many see this change is enlightenment in the administration of the Grace of god. It is the belief in universal salvation; it believes that God will somehow suddenly honor sin! They have eradicated the earthly sting of sin by dismissing sin as sin all together. By transgressing the will of God one begins to become more like the father of lies and promotes his same agenda. In this way the people will love and justify the concept of socialism/communism as it is the antithesis of The Christ Himself.

Mat 24:11  And many lying prophets will arise, deceiving multitudes and leading them away from the path of truth.

·  Just get online! Look at all the teachers of Christianity. From Joel Osteen to Benny Hinn, to a thousand YouTube sensations from “Revivalists”, to Baptists, to the Pope, and beyond the heavens. There are millions of sources that all claim to tell the Truth about God. It has become a very large, deceptive and dysfunctional family. Joel Osteen preaches straight feces and yet has multiple millions of followers. In nearly every denomination you can find deceivers leading many astray.

Mat 24:12  There will be such an increase of sin and lawlessness that those whose hearts once burned with passion for God and others will grow cold.

·  This has become more evident as of late. Even the church seems to encourage divorce and remarriage vs. true commitment and reconciliation. The younger generations have been empowered to make a much more militaristic stand against religion and Godly morality. Even many who once believed in the God of the Bible have turned to the ways of the world.

Mat 24:13  But keep your hope to the end and you will experience life and deliverance.

·  I do not want to create a Pre, Post, or Mid tribulation theology battle here, but Jesus is clearly stating that in the end things get rough. As a matter of fact at one point He states that the end will be worse than any other time we have ever experienced. Our hope must be found solely in Jesus Christ. In Him we find the strength and needed abilities to survive the trials to come. Be prepared, because I feel the beginning of that age May be upon us!

Mat 24:14  “Yet through it all, this joyful assurance of the realm of heaven’s kingdom will be proclaimed all over the world, providing every nation with a demonstration of the reality of God. And after this the end of this age will arrive.”

·  There will absolutely remain a remnant of people who are kept to be a pure connection to God. Pray that you and I are one of those people, or at least that we may die in a pleasing fashion to the Creator!
